Our Elders

Heaton's elders serve as the spiritual "shepherds" of the church. They provide spiritual guidance and leadership, as well as oversee and provide direction in making decisions which affect the church as a whole. They provide counsel and prayer for members, and meet weekly for prayer and planning. Heaton's elders meet with those requesting prayer and wisdom from God's Word in meeting their needs. The elders meet on a monthly basis with church deacons and staff to discuss the business of the church and are constantly seeking effective ways through God's Word in leading His people at Heaton.

Our Deacons

Heaton's deacons provide examples of Biblical service to the individuals in the church and community. From building and grounds to Sunday School teaching and administration, Heaton's deacons provide support and insight to Heaton's needs. These men meet with the church elders each month to discuss the needs of the church and to make important decisions regarding building needs, individual benevolences, and ways to better serve those who attend Heaton Church.
