Established in 2008, to offer emotional support to battered and abused women of all ages facing insurmountable obstacles, we offer conferences, life skill classes and entertainment. We attempt to offer hope and direction by sharing educational information. We attempt to educate, inspire, and network in open group settings. We do not claim to be counselors, ordained ministers, therapist, only persons who have survived.
Our most popular conference, a New You for a Brighter Tomorrow, is a conference to assist and prepare ladies for the workplace. With volunteers from all over Forsyth County and the metro area, we offered make-overs in hair, make-up and manicures. Resume' guidance and instruction, Interviewing tips, Clothing Boutique (lightly used business attire), Life skill classes in Dress for Success, Where's The Money for budgets and checkbooks, Mind & body Healing, Conflict Resolution (after employment) and a luncheon. New You for a Brighter Tomorrow is offered twice a year, spring and fall.
