Accepts any animal, EXCEPT DOGS OR CATS, that are injured or orphaned. All wild born creatures, when healthy, are returned to the wild. HWRC is 501c - all donations go to the care of the animals.  It is against State and Federal law to keep any wild animal as a pet - HECKHAVEN works under both State and Federal Permits in order to care for these animals.
