Bread and Cheese Supplement: 1 loaf Breadfarm bread and 1 pc. Golden Glen cheese (average 7-8 oz.) 1/week 20 wks: $220 12 wks: $ 132
Flower supplement: 1 seasonal bouquet delivered with your box each week. 20 wks: $120 12 wks: $72
Each week you pick up, at a designated location, a box of theh freshest and best our farm has to offer. Most weeks there will 8-10 different items in your share. We try to include a fruit item in each week's share as well as a newsletter and a recipe or two. A full share is about right for most families of four. A half share is intended to provide a weeks' worth of produce for 2 people.
We will have one makeup week at the end of the season. If you are going to miss a pickup please let us know 24 hours in advance and we will put you on the makeup list. You may also opt to have a friend pickup your box any time - no notice necessary - just have your friend ask for your share.
Certified Organic - All of our field grown fruits and vegetables are WSDA and USDA certified organic.
Pesticide Free - Our greenhouse vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, basil, eggplant, and cucumbers) are pesticide free. These crops are not certified organic because we do use some conventional fertilizer for our greenhouse vegetable production.
Produce from other farms - Some things we do not grow but are too good to pass up - ripe peaches, for example. We may occasionally include an item from other farms. These items will always be from farmers with whom we have personal relationships and whose practices and philosophy match our own. You will always be informed of the organic status of all items in your weekly pickup.
Hedlin Farms is a multi-generational family farm currently in its 3rd generation. We are located outside LaConner, WA, near the mouth of the Skagit River, where we have been since Rasmus Koudal came over from Denmark in 1906. We currently grow organic and pesticide free conventional produce for our fresh market sales at our LaConner farmstand, a 200 share CSA with pickup locations throughout the lower Skagit Valley, at the Mount Vernon (Sat. 9-1) Bellevue (Thurs. 3-7), and Mercer Island (Sun. 11-3) Farmers Markets, restaurant, and wholesale orders.
We grow a wide range of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers including red-ripe (and orange yellow, purple, and green-ripe!) heirloom, cherry, and beefsteak tomatoes, as well as sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, slicing cucumbers, and a full range of WSDA Certified Organic field produce.

Members can pick up from United General in Sedro-Wooley from 3-4 on Fridays in the visitor parking lot opposite the main entrance. Shares not picked up by 4PM will be held by United General Food Services for 24 hours after the scheduled drop time.
