The Helena Family YMCA is a 3 story building where members enter on the top floor. The top floor hosts the front desk for member services, a cardio theater complete with treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, and bicycles; a community room for birthday parties and gathering; and a group fitness studio holding 37+ weekly classes, dance lessons, arts & crafts projects, fencing, and more.

The second floor houses the gymnasium, locker rooms, and pool. The gym serves a multiple number of youth and adult programs including basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, noon ball, pickleball, Zumbathons, bootcamp classes, & games and activities. Men's & women's locker rooms provide lockers available for monthly rent or single day use, showers, and allow access to the pool. The YMCA pool is 25 yards long, is heated at 83*, and offers public and private swim lessons, group aqua aerobics classes, public swim, and lap swim.

The final tier of the Helena Family YMCA is the basement and home to the Health & Wellness Center. Here a person will find barbells, dumbbells, selectarized machines, an indoor track, and additional cardio equipment. The Health & Wellness Center hosts personal training, medicine balls, kettlebells,  a pull up bar, an abdominal station, and stretch station.
