Hermit Creek Farm
We are a USDA certified organic, solar-electric powered, diversified family farm marketing through our CSA, local restaurants, the Chequamegon Food COOP in Ashland WI and at the Ashland Area Farmer's Market each Saturday morning from mid-June through early October.

We have provided the Chequamegon Bay region with fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, maple syrup, and pastured pork since 1993. Diversity of the crops we grow, product quality and freshness, quality of life, and maintaining a healthy farm ecosystem are among our top priorities and we believe these are evident in the smiles we see on our customers and friends faces.

Hermit Creek is the only certified organic CSA located in northwestern Wisconsin. We are a stand-alone CSA, growing all of its offered produce, syrup, and pork on its own land located about 15 miles south of Lake Superior as the raven flies.

We offer our standard summer share as well as seasonal shares such as a spring "Kick Start the Season" share, an "Autumn Harvest" share, a winter storage share, an every-other -week share, and a pastured pork share. Our standard CSA season runs 17 weeks. By adding on a spring, autumn, and winter share, you can extend your season of locally grown produce to 10 months! We also offer a "Market Share" which allows members to purchase what they want from our stand at the Ashland Area Farmers Market on Saturdays at a members-only discount price.

Shares include a mix of what is in season and typically contain 8-12 items including seasonal fruits, greens, herbs, melons, honey, maple syrup, farm fresh eggs (spring share only) and more. We pride ourselves in growing the widest diversity and highest quality crops possible, and with season extension, often have veggies such as tomatos, cucumbers and other items weeks ahead of other local farms.

Shares are available Tuesdays or Fridays after 4:00 PM at the Black Cat Coffeehouse. Shares are kept cool in a walk-in cooler and members simply ask at the counter. Please be prompt with your pick-up as we often take up a lot of the Black Cat's cooler space and remember to support this great establishment.

Coco Artisan Breads and Fine Pastries  (Tue)
Delivery to a central Washburn location on Tuedays only. CSA shares are typically at the site by 4:00 PM and are kept in a walk-in cooler at Coco Artisian Breads. Please pick up shares promptly and don't forget to thank the staff and support this great bakery!

Four Corners Saloon  (Fri)
Shares are available after 4 PM on Fridays. Four Corners Saloon is a local eatery that has graciously offered its walk-in cooler for CSA delivery in the Mason and Town of Lincoln communities. Owner Dave Zepczyk is a long-time supporter of the local ag scene so make sure you let him know that you appreciate his support of our CSA. And while your there, grab a burger or fish-fry and a cold one!

Tuesday CSA shares are delivered by a generous Lac du Flambeau shareholder to LdF and Mercer. By appointment only, but if we get enough shareholders in this direction we will add services to this route.
