"Faithful until He comes..." I Thessalonians 5:24
" 'Faithful is He who calls you and He will bring it to pass.' So states I Thessalonians 5:24. ... (T)his history (of our church) is an account of the workings of God through, and sometimes in spite of, man. It would be wonderful to say that we have always been as faithful to the Lord as we should have been. But that simply is not true. What is true is that God has been faithful to His work. It is nothing short of miraculous to see how God has used people to see that the name of Jesus is proclaimed throughout the world.... (S)pend some time asking the Lord what He would like to do through us today. ... God has something important for us to do as individuals and as a body of believers."

These stained glass windows were saved from the old sanctuary, built in 1922, which was remodeled in 1981 and now serves the dual purposes of Fellowship Hall and gym. The windows were incorporated into the foyer when it was expanded during the remodeling process to allow easier access between buildings. The entire foyer was updated in 2002

This portion of Hillsboro First Baptist includes the building that served as the sanctuary for nearly half of the 20th century. The stained glass windows shown above are two of the original windows in this building. At the time that it was renovated, the windows were in need of repair, so most of them were auctioned off to help raise money for the project. The two shown above were restored and installed in the foyer where they are protected from the elements
