Hoist Teen Street Outreach was formed by Christian volunteers to bring hope and love to the teens of Billings, Montana.
We envision a community in which all youth experience nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support, which allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed and responsible decisions as they evolve into members of our community. We believe that helping young people achieve their full potential is the best way to prevent them from becoming involved in negative risky behavior.
We also envision youth being drawn to Jesus Christ through their seeing and hearing the Love of God through the words and actions of Hoist volunteers.
We assist all teens with the need of food, hygiene supplies, school supplies and assist them to get clothing from other agencies. We provide Mentor services free of charge for teens 12-18 years of age and also have fee based services through the Yellowstone Juvenile Probation Dept. We host a weekly meal program, and blessing bag distribution. Hoist continues to raise funds for Hoist Teen Center: which will host education services, youth activities, emergency shelter and services.
