Our Mission:

The Hood County Committee on Aging's Mission is to provide nutrition, transportation, education, and recreation services to the 60+ population of Hood County so as to enhance and encourage independent living and individual well being.

Activities:

The Senior Center believes that activities afford seniors a greater quality of life by keeping them busy and active. Throughout the year, the Senior Center provides a variety of educational seminars, health screenings, AARP tax aides, AARP drivers' safety courses, and medical services. The Center also provides fun and invigorating activities to help keep seniors lively and healthy. Bingo, exercise, sewing, games, pool table, musical entertainment, and dancing are some of the activities.

The Senior Center plays a vital role in keeping Hood County Seniors happy, healthy, and able to continue to live independently in their own homes.
