The Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund (HGSF) is a non-profit, grant-making organization whose mission is to
fill the gap between a student's available resources (i.e. loans, scholarships, work-study, student savings and parent contributions) and the
anticipated cost of his or her post-secondary education.
Grants are available to graduates of Horace Greeley High School, and only for accredited post-secondary education programs.
The HGSF has existed since 1946. Over the past four years, over $665,000 has been given away to students in need. In 2008 alone the HGSF awarded $177,000. The application process is 100% confidential. Please visit our Web site for more information and to download an application.
