Hospice care is intended to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and to offer support for the family and significant others. 

Community Hospices of America provides care in the home and long-term care facilities.  The goal of hospice care is to provide comfort to the patient by assisting with pain and symptom management and to enhance the quality of life for both the patient and family. 

In addition, this hospice program provides grief support to the family for one year after their loved one's death.
