Statement Of Goals

1. To provide a school for all students; a school wherein equal advantages for all are provided and where students are guided in understanding, appreciating, and practicing American democratic ideals.

2. To institute an educational program that will enable each student to develop the skills, attitudes, emotional balance and positive self-concept needed to fit into today’s complex life.

3. To maintain a multi-level program of learning that encompasses the variety of educational needs of the students.

4. To offer a well organized guidance program to aid the students in making wise personal and career choices.

5. To supply a background of information that will enable pupils to make intelligent judgments and decisions in their daily lives.

6. To improve instruction through the most efficient use of teachers’ talents, curricular time, physical facilities, and audio-visual and other technologies aids.

7. To establish the school as the center of learning, culture, and recreation in the community.

8. To emphasize concepts and actions that will strengthen democratic ideals.

9. To develop character, confidence, and competent leadership.
