The Huron County Humane Society serves the residents of Huron County and our mission is to prevent the suffering experienced by abandoned, neglected and abused animals. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization overseen by a Board of Directors. Monies funding Huron County Humane Society are from private contributions, membership dues and fundraising efforts of the Board of Directors and Volunteers.

Day-today operations of the Shelter are handled by Sue Heys, Shelter/Operations Manager; Sherry Valentine, Kennel Master; Trisha Traczek, Cattery Master; several part-time personnel; volunteers and community service.
