Industry elementary is a Pre-kindergarten through 6th grade attendance center in Industry, Illinois and is part of the Schuyler-Industry CUSD #5. 287 students are served by 24 certified and 7 non-certified instructional aides.

Industry Elementary School believes that children will be more successful in school when the school and the parents are working together. Parents are welcome in our building at any time, and are encouraged to share hobbies, expertise, and family experiences with their child's classroom. We hope that each family reads with their child nightly and/or assists with any other homework the child brings home. Parents stay informed about other happenings in classrooms and the school through weekly and monthly newsletters and sometimes daily through the student assignment book/ Agenda. Parent-teacher conferences are held in the fall, but parents and teachers often schedule additional conferences when necessary.

Reading and Math instruction are a top priority at Industry Elementary. The District's new elementary reading series and Saxon math are some tools used to assist in the improvement of reading and math skills. Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Band, PE, and Library round out each child's educational experience. In addition, our children receive instruction in Character Education and Ag in the Classroom from U of I Extension.
