The Issaquah Women’s Club was founded in 1983 when a group of women, in the spirit of friendship and service, joined forces to become more involved in the community. We are a diverse organization, coming from a variety of backgrounds, professions, age groups, and ethnicities. Today, we number nearly a hundred and expect that number to grow as women in the community learn more about who we are and what we do.
By working together, not only do we build friendships but we also use our strength in numbers to reach out to our community.
We are a social club who, through our Issaquah Women’s Foundation, are dedicated to a variety of charitable and humanitarian projects. We work together as friends, using our unique skills and talents to address the needs in our community. And as we work together, building friendships on the way, we are also uniquely privileged to share time together socially, strengthening our bonds and opening our hearts, not only to each other but to our community as well.
Our club, through our foundation, is the sole provider of funds for the Eastside Domestic Violence Continuing Education Scholarship. We also award “Follow Your Dream” scholarships each year to local high school senior girls wishing to further their education.
