We farm using natural methods because we care about the health of our families, volunteers, and customers, and we want to be good stewards of the portion of this earth that is temporarily under our care. We grow produce of all southern varieties and we use non-GMO seeds. We try to use all heirloom seed, some of which we save from year to year. We use youth and community voluteers to work in the gardens, which offers our youth leadership opportunities.
Our CSA shareholder will have a selection of inseason vegetables picked fresh from the garden. We will have a box that the shareholder will be able to select vegetables that are harvested from the garden the day of pickup. We will have to schedule our shareholders days of pickup so that we can guarantee them the best produce in the garden.
