God is personal, loving, all-powerful, eternally existent and all knowing being. He is not to blame for the evils in this world; the devil is. By deception at the beginning of history, the devil enticed the human family to join him in his rebellion against God, but God has devised a plan to win back the human family. the plan involved the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the human race. This mad possible the redemption of the human race and refuted the devil's false charges that God is arbitrary and unjust. the price having been paid, God offers His salvation to all as a free gift. When the time is right, God will intervene in world' events to eradicate evil and those who persist in it. This intervention involves Christ's personal return to this earth (the second coming of Christ) to take His people to heaven. Then 1000 years later, He will return with them to live on a recreated earth. All those who have accepted God's plan share in His kingdom.
The Bible is God's living letter to the human race, proclaiming that God is love, and telling about His plan to rid the earth of injustice, disease, suffering and death. The Bible contains forecasts which indicate that God's intervention in world events is near. God is today sending an urgent message to men and women to prepare for that event. God invites all by love and persuasion, but forces none, as His heart yearns over those He has created. His appeals today are specially urgent because He wishes people everywhere to know that the hour of His judgment has come. Those who are dead will be raised to life to share is His kingdom, if, during their lifetime, they accepted God's plan. The Bible pictures death as a sleep from which all will be resurrected. The symbol that shows that one has chosen God and wants to be a member of His Kingdom is baptism, an act of immersion in water, signifying a burial of the old life and resurrection to new life.
The Bible contains not only universal moral principles but also counsel on how to apply them to practical living. Above all, it contains a record of the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God who lived on this earth for more than thirty years revealing God's love and being an example for us today. While waiting for God's Kingdom to be completely established, a person should serve his fellow man, helping to relieve the suffering that evil has caused, and at the same time preaching the good news that God has a remedy for today's society. During this waiting period, God has arranged to live with His people spiritually in the person of the Holy Spirit. He has also set apart the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath, as a day of special fellowship and celebration, during which hours He ask His people to lay aside secular activities so that the fellowship may be complete.
