Joanne was born in Washington, DC and spent most of her youth on the shores of the East Coast. Though primarily self-taught, Joanne has studied with such acclaimed artists as Jeanne Dobie and Wolf Kahn.

Joanne is a dedicated, full-time artist working out of her studio in a northern suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Joanne frequently travels to national and international locations where she gathers visual information for future paintings.
