The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) identifies hazards and vulnerabilities within the corporate limits of Kane County and provides coordination to effectively and efficiently mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from any incident regardless of cause, size, or complexity, including acts of terrorism, in an effort to lessen the affects these events may have on the citizens of Kane County.
