Our mission:  To assist families in becoming healthy, stable and self-sufficient, and to offer them information, guidance and support

Kent Family Center is operated by the non profit agency Shared Opportunity Service, Inc.  Our family center  is funded in part by a statewide organization Friends of the Family, a  program promoting stable families.  Since 1996 the organization has positively changed the lives of more than 2,000 families.
Programs at the Kent Family Center depend on your generous donations and personal involvement. Every donation helps us to build stronger families in the community, and every volunteer helps us to increase awareness that healthy and  stable families are the key to a stronger community.
