We are a bible believing congregation that accepts and adheres to the Word of God. Our purpose is to reach, teach and touch people. To provide worship, to admonish and love the erring, to challenge and encourage each other to a greater witness in stewardship and the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This Statement of Purpose describes our function and determination, of what we believe God has called us to do. It says we are a bible church, and it is important that you understand that the church is you. We stand for and believe in the bible, it is our law; our creed and they're our authority in all matter.

We, with all of our strength and conviction will promote the bible as the inerrant Word of God based on the following scriptures, II Timothy 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Psalm 119:89, Yes! Forever O'Lord thy Word is settled in Heaven. John 17:17, sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth. The Lord hath set His seal to it that His Word is the mark of authority and authenticity. Read Jeremiah 32:1-41. John 10:35 remind us that the scripture cannot be broken. The scripture cannot be set aside whatever it says is true.

Our purpose is to reach, teach and touch people. Reach them through preaching and teaching. Teaching brings growth and stability in God's House. We will be used of God to touch people with our life, kindness, and money and with our time. To provide worship, make use of God's House, to admonish, love the erring, challenge and encourage each other to a greater witness.

To witness is to spread the gospel in bringing people to God's House in our cars, encouraging our Pastor with a call or card, being a counselor, and helper. Helping to feed the hungry, giving good clothing to the naked, visiting the incarcerated, and caring for the fatherless and the widows (Matthew 25:34-36). Radiating happiness and doing what we can as best we can all the time (James 1:27). We are people who care and are committed to service in stewardship and spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
