The Kiwanis Club of Sharon is one of more than 8,500 clubs of Kiwanis International which have a total membership of more than 316,000. The Sharon club has 54 members.

Kiwanis is a not for profit organization whose mission is to build a better world by making Kiwanis service, precepts, and Objects available to all peoples and to improve international understanding by developing Kiwanis in accordance with the mores and customs of the area concerned to the maximum degree possible consistent with the Constitution and Bylaws of Kiwanis International.

Kiwanis is first and foremost a service organization with projects worldwide as well as community based. Sponsored programs include clubs in middle or junior high schools, high schools, and colleges and for young adults throughout Europe.
