The LaPorte County Conservation Trust, Inc., (LPCCT) is a privately organized membership organization controlled by a volunteer board of local citizens. The LPCCT is dedicated solely to maintaining, preserving, and protecting the natural resources and biodiversity of LaPorte County, Indiana.
The LPCCT advances these goals through:
Public education and outreach
The purchase and management of real property and easements
The acceptance and management of voluntary donations of property and gifts for the charitable purposes encompassed in these objectives.
The LaPorte County Conservation Trust, Inc. is incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the State of Indiana with tax exempt status, and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as an agency qualified for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3).

The LaPorte County Conservation Trust, Inc., cooperates with local agencies such as the LaPorte County Park Department and the City of LaPorte Department of Parks and Recreation. As a private, non profit corporation the LPCCT interacts with these local agencies to maximize limited resources.
