The YMCA of La Porte, a not-for-profit organization, is owned by it's many members and run by the YMCA's trained staff. The Board of Directors set YMCA Policy and are nominated from membership and community leaders. They are elected at the annual meeting held in the spring of each year.

Located at 901 Michigan Avenue in La Porte (front doors on the corners of Maple Avenue and Monroe Street (St Hwy 4) the La Porte Family YMCA provides services throughout the community.
