Mission

LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church exists to promote the Kingdom of God by worshipping God in response to His Word, equipping God's people for Kingdom ministry, and witnessing to God's world in word and deed that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.

Vision

As the grace of God blesses our prayer, planning, and combined efforts, LaGrave CRC will strive to be:

a confessing community
whose members understand and embrace LaGrave's mission of promoting the Kingdom of God, who declare and share that mission in church and community, in prayer and in work, here and wherever God leads us;

a worshipping community
committed to maintaining a tradition of formal worship which integrates articulate and intelligent preaching of God's Word with music that glorifies God and inspires worshipers, with the hope that LaGrave can serve as a worship resource in and for West Michigan;

a caring community
of diverse people who show a love for God and each other in individual acts of kindness and through a renewed congregational commitment to workable and self-sustaining small group ministries;

a discipling community
committed to following Jesus Christ and to helping others do the same through growing congregational participation in educational programs and discipling ministries;

a witnessing and serving community
committed to a wholistic outreach to the poor and the powerful, nearby and far away, through growing member involvement in friendship evangelism, world missions, and the cause of Christian compassion and social justice.
