About Us

Pastor Scott and Sue Behrman founded Lake Country Family Church on April 24th, 1998 with a vision for reaching families all over the Lake Country Area!

For the first year, our church met in the Country Inn Hotel and our focus was to establish a strong foundation. Our message is one of abundant life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and through faith in God's Word! (John 10:10)


Before pastoring, Pastors Scott and Sue have served in many areas of ministry including preaching and teaching, missions, youth ministry, music ministry, counseling, and more. Upon graduating from the Bible School they passionately pursued God's plan for their lives, always knowing in their hearts that their life's calling was to minister God's awesome love to others.

While they were on the mission field, God started to deal with Scott & Sue about praying, something that has always been in their hearts. They sensed in their hearts God had a people waiting for them and praying for them to come. After much prayer, they felt it was to be in Wisconsin.

Scott and Sue met at Bible School and both have a heart to pastor, and for world missions. Sue is from Wisconsin and is excited about what the Lord has directed them to do in her home state. Scott is from Colorado and grew up as a pastor's kid and has been around ministry his whole life.

Pastors Scott and Sue love being in the ministry and consider it a privilege to serve the Lord and His people with the life changing power of His Word.
