The Lakes Region Community Emergency Response Team, LR-CERT, serves nine communities in the Lakes Region:  Alton, Gilmanton, Belmont, Laconia, Gilford, Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonboro and Sandwich.  Its mission is to train citizens in disaster preparedness, first aid and CPR and also to assist first responders in their duties.  It is sponsored by the Lakes Region Partnership for Public Health.
