Making what Jesus did and taught our way of living. Through obedience of faith, love, and hope making the gospel of Christ real. It still delivers, empowers, and changes lives with evidence of love for God and service to others.
Statement of Faith:
We accept the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining spiritual unity. We adopt the following statement of fundamental truth:
1. We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
6. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; them that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
9. We believe the scriptures teach that God's desire and design are for the whole person, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and the Lord can and does still intervene in the lives of mankind. Therefore we pray for individuals according to James 5:13-16.
10. We believe in the second advent of our Lord Jesus Christ through his triumphant return.
