About Us:
Seventy-five years after its founding, The Lansing Muzzle Loading Gun Club enjoys a diverse membership with interests in competitive shooting, gun building and collecting, hunting, historical re-enactment, and preservation of our rich American shooting heritage. The LMLGC currently consists of over 50 member families. Family involvement is encouraged and the club has competitive shooters in the women's and junior's categories.
The Lansing Muzzle Loading Gun Club holds a general membership meeting at 1:00 PM on the second Sunday of each month at the club house. Monthly club shoots are held at the Sciota Station range after the monthly general membership meeting. The LMLGC also hosts two large open shoots each year, on the first weekend of June and on Labor Day weekend in September. Visitors and guests are always welcome at LMLGC club meetings and shoots. The annual cost of membership in the Lansing Muzzle Loading Gun Club is currently $50.00 per family. The LMLGC is affiliated with the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, the National Rifle Association, the Michigan State Muzzle Loading Association, and Michigan United Conservation Clubs.
