As a school, Las Juntas has set high expectations for student achievement. With high expectations, continued reflection on best practices, and support from you as parents/guardians Las Juntas will continue to reach great levels of academic accomplishment.

The entire staff at Las Juntas is dedicated to helping all students reach their fullest potential. Our instructional program is driven by district and state content standards in all subject matter and grade levels. Additionally, our staff will continue to analyze data of student work, test scores, and instructional strategies to create the greatest educational experience possible for your student.

We will measure the academic progress of students toward grade level standards through the use of state designed, district designed, and teacher developed assessments. Students experiencing difficulty in reaching grade level standards will be offered the chance to participate in intervention programs.

Creating a positive climate for academic growth is a responsibility shared by all members of our school community. Having families and students aware of the academic, procedural, and behavioral expectations of Las Juntas is a key part to our positive academic environment. Please review your student handbook to find our school wide and district wide, policies, procedures, and regulations.
