History:

The Laura Donovan School was built in 1968. It was named in honor of Mrs. Laura Donovan who taught in Freehold Township for 54 years.

Our school is located in a suburban area of New Jersey which at one time was mainly farmland.  Laura Donovan School is a K-5 school, with approximately 650 students at ending. 

The Mission of Laura Donovan Elementary School is to work with teachers, students, community members, administrators and parents as a community of learners to improve and enhance the environment, attitude and instruction within our school
