About
The Lebanon Square Circlers, the second oldest square dance club in Oregon, dancing since 1949, will be celebrating its birthday in January. Located in Lebanon Oregon, heart of the Willamette Valley, the club insignia is the strawberry. Celebrating the Strawberry Festival every year, the club joins in the festivities by participating in the parade and sponsoring dances and activities during the first weekend in June. The club started after the American Legion Auxiliary sponsored dance lessons.
Dances are held every first and third Saturday night at the Odd Fellows Hall, 20 East Ash Street, with prerounds starting at 7:30 PM and Squares at 8:00PM. The club welcomes couples, singles, and family groups. Caller and cuer are Jim and Joyce Voll. Lessons begin every September and the club welcomes any interested individuals.
