The Mission of the Leominster Fire-Rescue Department

We are to safeguard its citizens by providing high quality emergency fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. We shall make every effort to maintain a fire fighting force capable of handling structural fires, hazardous materials incidents, incidents of terrorism, medical, or rescue incidents as well as any other catastrophic event which may occur. These efforts are combined with a proficient and proactive fire prevention program to include public education,
code enforcement, and systems engineering.
