The Lewisboro Lions Club, nicknamed "The Red Coats of Lewisboro" was founded in 1958. Since then this group of volunteers have contributed time and services for the betterment of the community. At Present we are 52 members strong and constantly growing.
In the spirit of "Lionism" The Lewisboro Lions live up to their motto..."WE SERVE". Whether it is volunteering time or services, the pride of the Lions is evident. From sponsoring a scholarship to a graduate of John Jay High School, which we just increased by 50%, to supplying the food services for the Library Fair, Shakespeare in the Park and our favorite the July 4th fireworks celebration. We also host a dinner for the senior citizens of the local area. The Lewisboro Lions have also lent a helping hand to Americares projects. In the spring you'll probably notice a bunch of us in red shirts cleaning up the roads of our community, that would be our "Road Crew". The Pavilion at the Town Park, yup, we built that and our latest contribution its twin over at Onatru Park.
