The mission of the Lexington R-V School District is to reach, teach, and challenge all students, everyday, in a safe and caring environment…..together. While the No Imagemajor focus of the school’s mission is to teach basic academic skills and foster academic excellence, our school also encourages and promotes skill development and awareness of fine and practical arts as well as an understanding of the importance of health and physical education. The district encourages development of awareness of modern technology and promotes both knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers.

The goals of the Lexington R-V School District are to

Create a positive learning environment for students, staff and community

Align, review, revise and teach the curriculum

Encourage partnerships with parents, patrons, and the community, thus

creating a rapport which fosters trust

Retain, develop, and recruit high quality enthusiastic staff

Instill in each student a respect for self and others, so that each can

become a responsible citizen

Ensure that all students read at grade level or above

Improve MAP and ACT scores

Continue to improve and maintain facilities and grounds.
