Our History
Life In Christ Lutheran Church was begun in 1977. In that summer, our first worship services were held in the Albertville Elementary School. In 1978, we found five acres of land on the corner of Main Avenue and 50th Street in Albertville. The building was dedicated in March of 1979.
The church has grown over the years and now has over 500 baptized members. Most of the members are young families. We maintain an active Sunday school and adult education program.
Pastor Michael Trask, who currently serves the congregation arrived in 1995
What We Believe
That there is only one true God: the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit
That the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, reliable in all its parts, and the only standard for faith and life
That all human beings are sinful from birth, separated from God, and need to be reconciled to him
That by his suffering and death on the Cross, Jesus Christ made complete payment for our sins
That we receive the benefits of Christ's redemption through faith. When one believes that Jesus died and rose again for him, then he is added to God's family and is assured of eternal life
God's Spirit uses the preaching of the Word as well as the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy communion to strengthen and preserve us in the faith
Christ will return at the Last Day to judge the living and the dead
