This booklet is not to be construed as a constitution or a governing authority for Light House Baptist Church, a New Testament Church.  The Word of God (AV1611) is the pure, infallible, inerrant constitution for the body of Christ. These Articles of Faith are the interpretation we hold of the Bible doctrines.  These articles are not comprehensive nor an exhaustive listing of the doctrines the Lord has given us in His Word. They are not infallible though they reflect our understanding of the infallible Book. What we present in this booklet is a summary of what we believe as a church congregate.  Christ is the Head of Light House Baptist  Church and leads this body by His Holy Spirit through His Holy Word taught by His pastor. Any of these articles may be amended or added to as the Lord gives us deeper discernment of a doctrine. We believe Ephesians 4, 5, and 6 present the ideal behavior for the Christian life. Therefore, we as members of Light House Baptist Church do accept this distinctive portion of scripture as our covenant with one another and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
