About Us:
Lighthouse Christian Fellowship was formed by a dynamic group of believers who had a desire to begin a new ministry in the city of Chula Vista, California. Propelled by the blessing of our authorities and armed with passion and great vision, our Fellowship was inaugurated in November of 1999.

We began meeting in an Elementary School auditorium, with all the challenges that came with it. During our time there we learned many important and life-changing lessons, including the realization that God was not restricted to church buildings. We were able to see God do miraculous things in the middle of an auditorium that was decorated as a jungle, a 50's sock-hop venue, an "Under the Sea" paradise and many other themes related to whatever activity the school had the days before our worship service. It was always an adventure to show up on Sundays and discover what environment we would worship in.

During our first three years, the Lord helped us reach many new people and as the membership grew, we all learned to give faithfully to His work. In October of 2002, we came across an opportunity to purchase a facility. We trusted in God, and against all odds, we were able to secure the purchase of our existing campus. We have been blessed to have our own place, and it has helped us to reach even more people and offer a variety of new programs and activities.

With the help of God, we have become a thriving group of believers that enjoys serving God and "Living the Life." We have a strong vision to become a great church that is equipped to meet the needs of our community. We are excited about the great future that awaits us, as we continue to shine brightly with the Light of the Gospel.
