About Us
Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) has been serving the health care needs of this region since 1953. For the families who live and work in Lincoln and surrounding counties, this hospital has become a valuable resource. We serve as the first line of care in a medical emergency. We provide personalized, patient care in an easily accessible setting.
Patient Care
Lincoln County Medical Center delivers professional care in a comfortable and efficient manner when circumstances require a hospital stay. Our facility offers both private and semi-private rooms; specially designed pediatric patient rooms; patient and visitors lounges; cafeteria and in-house patient food service; a professional nursing staff; and a full complement of support personnel.
Our skilled team of physicians and surgeons offer you the best medical care possible in specialties ranging from cardiology and urology to orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. (A complete listing of physician specialties and services appears in the "Providers" section of our site.
Most recently, LCMC instituted a state-of-the-art, computerized medical database that makes health information easily available to physicians and nurses at the point of patient care-at your bedside, at our clinics, and even for our home care service providers. No other facility in the area offers a more accurate and secure medical records system than LCMC.
Services
LCMC offers a full array of outpatient services and procedures-procedures that just 20 years ago could have required an overnight stay in the hospital. Our outpatient services include: an on-site mammography unit; CT scanner and diagnostic services; advanced laser surgery techniques and equipment; and cardiopulmonary, nuclear medicine, rehabilitation, home care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology and laboratory support teams.
Two increasingly attractive alternatives to a hospital stay include one-day surgery for minor surgical procedures and Outpatient Plus-an option that allows in-hospital recovery and observation for up to 24-hours without the expense of full in-patient care.
