Of course, the size of the graduation class is not the only thing to change throughout the years. Since the very first public school opened in Troy, more than tenschools have been constructed, several have been expanded and a new ninth grade center is on the way.
According to local historians, it’s estimated 25 to 30 high school students were enrolled by 1914. That number increased to 97 by 1935. Today, there are nearly 1900 high school students enrolled at Troy Buchanan High School.
