LIVE & LEARN EDUCATION is a unique, one of a kind, whole life education program planned by and for adults with Developmental Disabilities who live in our community.

          LIVE & LEARN partners with Middlesex Community College to provide the only noncredit learning opportunity in the Greater Lowell area.  Classes are held year round on Wednesday evening from 5p-7p and are taught by Instructors and guest speakers.

          The premise of the class is participatory focused - the Individuals who attend must determine what topics are of interest to them - what they believe they want and need to learn-as opposed to what the "professionals" telling them what is important.  Once a year a "brainstorming session" is held to review the past year of topics and make recommendations for future subjects.  Reading and writing is not required - only a willingness to learn.
