Mission

In the name of Jesus Christ and led by the Holy Spirit, the mission of the Loda United Methodist Church is threefold. First, it is to proclaim the gospel to the unsaved; second, to strengthen its member's faith in Jesus Christ and His love; and third, to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by reaching out to the needs of all people.

To accomplish this mission, the Church will:

Proclaim the Gospel with the primary purpose of reaching those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Motivate our brothers and sisters in Christ to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, study and education, fellowship, prayer, communion, and their personal ministry.

Teach and encourage Christian attitudes and ideals values and concerns.

Lead and encourage members of the body of Christ to love and care for others by the use of their personal resources such as time, talent and money to help meet the needs of persons found in our congregation, community and other mission fields.

Challenge our members to be living examples of Jesus Christ in everything they say and do.
