A great public school system meets the needs of all its students. The staff in the Long Branch Schools is committed to the belief that all children possess unique talents and can master academic skills. Beginning with the three-year olds and continuing throughout all the grades, academic achievement is emphasized. In addition, countless opportunities are offered for children to participate in worthwhile activities to build self-esteem, creativity, and positive social skills. The staff dedicates their expertise and energies to accomplish our mission to graduate young adults who have analytical skills, intellectual resilience, respect for self and others and the desire to be both contributing and life-long learners.

These are challenging and exciting times in Long Branch. Three new schools are under construction and other schools are being renovated. As each school is completed, they will serve the community in many new ways beyond the school day. Each will include space that will expand the technology, medical and social facilities for all age groups in every neighborhood.

The achievements of the Long Branch Public Schools are consistently recognized by the New Jersey State Department of Education and are continuously cited as models for other public schools. Moving forward, I assure you that every opportunity to strengthen the school’s service to the community will be made and that “children first” will remain the driving force in the Long Branch Public Schools.
