About Us:
The Annual Summer Fest is the granddaddy of Long Grove’s signature festivals, drawing close to 40,000 visitors to the historic business district for the 3-day event. It is considered one of the premier outdoor festivals in the Chicagoland area. This year's festival will be held June 23rd - 25th, 2017. There is a $5 entry fee. Children under 12 are free!
The pleasures of summer are celebrated with berry wonderful treats. All ages flock to dipping stations for the chocolate covered strawberries, fruit smoothies, ice cream, strawberry donuts, baked goods, as well as the farm-fresh berries. There is entertainment for all ages throughout the village and shops host strawberry related activities.
Kids can have a great time at Summer Fest face painting, potato sack races, pie eating contests, tug-of-war, bubble shows, crafts, and other child-friendly booths, plus live music and yummy food for the whole family!
There is live entertainment all three days at venues all over town. Many of Long Grove’s shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants offer variations of summer-themed foods, drinks, and merchandise throughout the weekend.
