Loving & Learning Family Daycare
Loving & Learning Family Daycare is located in North Branch, MI (5298 Clear Lake Road) between Lake Pleasant and M-53
PRESCHOOL IS NOW ENROLLING: (Ages 2-5)
This pre-school program is not child care. Our schedule is filled with Math, Science, Language Arts, Spanish and other lessons. Our curriculum also includes "buddy reading," with kids describing books to one another, field trips for hands on ...learning and outdoor activities. The children also learn basic computer skills and enjoy art activities daily.
During daily circle time, we learn basic concepts of Math, Science & Reading together prior to working individually with the children. The children also enjoy singing songs, reading books and talking about upcoming events/holidays.
The kids eat breakfast and lunch family style, so they learn proper etiquette. Songs are sung as the children move between activities to help curb behavior problems. Loving & Learning Family Daycare teaches children coping skills and forms lasting relationships to bond with children and parents.
After completing the Preschool program at Loving & Learning Family Daycare, the children go into the regular school system better prepared to succeed in school.
TENDER-HEARTS IS ENROLLING: (5 weeks to 2 years)
Our Tender-Hearts Room meets the needs of each baby individually. We make no effort to force an infant to adapt to a center schedule. Daily reports are given to parents to help to foster a parent/teacher team that creates the best possible learning environment. A variety of soft toys, developmentally appropriate activities, small and gross motor skill activities provide a multitude of ways for every infant to explore and learn about their environment. We will work to stimulate your baby's cognitive, emotional and physical development through movement, exploration and one-on-one nurturing. Books and music are also an integral part of each infant's day.
KIDS CLUB IS ENROLLING: (5 years to 12 years)
Summer Kids Club- Each day, teachers will provide daily learning experiences in math, science and literacy through special educational activities to help keep your child's mind sharp - all summer long! We extend your school-age child's learning and play beyond the classroom with amazing field trips to exciting local venues. Your child will explore themes like animals and the environment, science and experiments, world cultures, fitness, and more.
During the school year our Kids Club provides the perfect combination of recreation and education. In our safe environment, your child will be presented with opportunities for fun, socializing and learning they'll do homework, get some exercise, create projects, participate in group activities and more. Plus, our convenient hours and transportation to and from school make it easy for them (and you!) to get into a routine!
Kids Club is OPEN during holidays and other breaks from school.
-Winter Break: Our holiday break program keeps your child interested and entertained with dozens of projects and activities.
-School Breaks: We're open even when school isn't teacher conferences, inclement weather and half days are no problem!
ADDITIONAL CHILD CARE:
Drop in child care is offered for parents that need occasional care for their children. My rates are reasonable and my scheduling is flexible.
I offer enrollment discounts to all military families, state workers and teachers.
PARENTS NIGHT OUT or Over Night Child Care: (Ages 6 weeks to 13 years)
The entire night for just $25/child!
7pm Friday to 9am Saturday
On Friday kids will make a craft, play air hockey & Wii games, enjoy playing board games, eat popcorn and watch movies. Saturday morning the children will have a pancake breakfast & play more games.
