About Us:

The Made-in-Michigan Film Festival (MiMFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that celebrates and promotes independent films exclusively from the state of Michigan through an annual Film Festival. In addition to the annual event, the Made-in-Michigan Film Society (MiMFS) has been formed to showcase independent Michigan films through a monthly gathering, and give an opportunity for film-goers to interact with film makers. By giving Michigan Filmmakers exposure and a venue to display their films, the MiMFF strives towards enhancing the quality of economic and cultural life in the State of Michigan.

The 2014 MiMFF will be marking it's 6th annual festival in October 2014 in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Located in the heart of Michigan's Bay Region, Frankenmuth has welcomed the Made-in-Michigan Film Festival with open arms. The #1 tourist destination in Michigan, Frankenmuth provides a state-of-the-art, 500-seat theater within the Bronner Performing Arts Center as well as other quality screening venues throughout the city.

People come from all over to experience world-renowned Bavarian Hospitality in Frankenmuth. The Made-in-Michigan Film Festival is excited to work with the city to provide an enjoyable and valuable experience for Michigan's film community. Please visit www.frankenmuth.org to learn about all the opportunities to have fun in Frankenmuth while attending the Festival.

Every year we highly encourage filmmakers to submit their films, and promise to do our very best to screen as many films as possible, promote our festival, and bring out an audience to watch Michigan films that are born with passion, creativity, and enthusiasm. Michigan Filmmakers have SO much to offer, and the MiMFF wants to make sure these films get the recognition they deserve.
