We are extremely proud of the Maple Grove Elementary Staff and the community for making this a quality school for our children. We are committed to providing educational opportunities that will prepare students for the challenges of a rapidly changing world – a solid foundation in the basics and the development of students to become independent learners and problem-solvers.
Children learn best in schools and classrooms that provide a caring, safe, and orderly learning environment. All staff at Maple Grove are committed to ensuring that our school is not only safe, but also that it is a welcoming, pleasant place where children can focus on learning without distractions. Our Bully-Free School effort is in place each school year.
A high performing staff is vital to the success of any school. To meet that expectation, staff members receive opportunities to continue their learning and expand their knowledge base so they have the latest tools and the necessary support to assist students in their educational efforts. Quality improvement calls for continual questioning of how we can do better, enhance, enrich, and broaden learning experiences for all children. The staff practices frequent collaboration regarding curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Last but not least, parents play a positive role in the education of our students. Our parents believe that education is important, believe their children can and will succeed, and are willing to become partners with the school to that end. Parents are offered meaningful roles in the school, are kept informed of the progress of their children, and are offered multiple opportunities to support the learning at home and at school.
