The primary objective of Marcey House is to facilitate the recovery process from the disease of addiction through the establishment of a supportive, structural & drug-free environment, which encourages individuals to accept responsibility for their own recovery and to develop a fulfilling, productive life. Our approach is based on a "phase-in" concept.
Marcey House strives to rehabilitate the substance abuser stressing responsibility to the individual, as well as the community at large. The disease of chemical dependency without intervention promotes a downward trend which is irreversible. The program focus is to interrupt this trend and incorporate new alternatives leading toward a happy & productive lifestyle without chemical dependency.
Marcey House is a fifteen 15 bed co-ed, residential treatment facility that accommodates six 6 females and nine 9 males. The program is located on the grounds of the St. Mary's Hospital. The average length of stay for residents is about six 6 months.
