AFS is the oldest exchange program in the world. It is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help young people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.

Marinette AFS currently has one student who is enrolled at Marinette High School. This program is not limited to MHS--any local high school school is eligible to host an AFS student.

AFS is not only an incoming exchange program it is also a program for any student looking to spend a year as a member of a family in another country.
