Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible is
God's revelation of Himself to man. It was written by men who were divinely
inspired by God and is totally true and trustworthy
We believe that the Bible speaks
to all areas of life and is the supreme standard for all human conduct.
We believe in the eternal triune
God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct
attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
We believe that Jesus Christ is
the eternal Son of God. He took upon Himself human nature identifying Himself
completely with man yet without sin.
We believe that Jesus died in our
place on the Cross as the payment for our sins. He was buried. He rose from the
dead on the third day and is alive today sitting at the right hand of God in
heaven.
We believe that Jesus will return
in power and glory to gather His people to be with Him forever.
We believe that the Holy Spirit
is fully divine. He revealed God to man. He inspired men to record God's
revelation, and through illumination He enables men to understand God's truth.
We believe that man was created
in the image of God. However, as a result of the Fall, all men are sinners and
are in need of salvation.
We believe that it is only by
God's grace and through faith in Jesus Christ alone that a person is saved and
thereby enters into a personal, eternal relationship with God.
We believe that the local church
is an autonomous body of baptized believers whose purpose is to praise God,
preach the Word, pray without ceasing, and proclaim the good news of salvation
in Jesus Christ.
